Akira Akatsuki (暁月 あきら, Akatsuki Akira), born August 18, 1977, is a Japanese mangaka known primarily as the artist of Medaka Box. He has also drawn under the pen name Kūya (空鵺) as a member of the doujin circle RIROLAND.
