The Mokkin Team (木金コンビ, Mokkin Konbi) are a pair of delinquent students of Hakoniwa Academy.

PersonalityEdit

The Mokkin Team are aggressive and violent, making a name for themselves damaging school property. They have little in the way of scruples, trying to blame Harigane Onigase for their trouble,^[1] as well as ambushing her when they believed incapacitated (she was handcuffed to Zenkichi Hitoyoshi and Medaka Kurokami at the time).^[2] Despite their arrogance, they were easily frightened off after their bats were broken by the afore mentioned members of the Student Council.^[3]

AppearanceEdit

The gray haired member of the Mokkin Team wears a plain shirt, and has a scar on his right cheek. The black haired member of the Mokkin Team wears the men's uniform of Hakoniwa Academy, minus the tie, and has a scar above his left eye.

HistoryEdit

The Mokkin Team spent their time terrorizing students, until Onigase put a stop to their trouble making. This left them quite bitter, and they tried to pin everything on her.^[4]

PlotEdit

Clash With The Enforcers ArcEdit

The Mokkin Team attempt to sneak up on Onigase while she is handcuffed to Zenkichi and Medaka, but Medaka notices their presence and calls them out. They express their amazement at Medaka's abilities, as well as their delight in finding Onigase in what they perceive to be a vulnerable position. The two attack, declaring that defeating the trio will make them famous. They are instantly defeated by Zenkichi and Medaka however, with Zenkichi and Medaka both destroying their wooden and metal bats respectively. Thoroughly terrified, the two run away.^[5]

Student Council Battle ArcEdit

On August twenty-second, the Mokkin Team are among Medaka's former enemies who show up to cheer for her during the President's Battle.^[6][7]

EquipmentEdit

Weapons Specialists: The gray haired member of the Mokkin Team carries a wooden bat, while the black haired member uses a metal bat, thus earning the title of Wood-Metal Combo.^[8] The wooden bat is broken by Zenkichi and the metal bat is broken by Medaka,^[9] though the Mokkin Team are seen with new bats in their next appearance at the end of the summer holidays.^[10]
