Sakugo Nienami (贄波 錯悟, Nienami Sakugo) is a member of the Shiranui Household affiliated with the Nienami family, and the double of Namanie Nienami.

PersonalityEdit

Sakugo is, by his own admission, a pervert who likes a girl covered in blood.^[1]

AppearanceEdit

Sakugo wears a vest a top of a white shirt with a tie. He wears matching pats that end just bellow his knees, where he wears black and white striped socks. He also wears shoes and a beret. Sakugo has short, light colored hair and gloomy expression.

HistoryEdit

Sakugo was originally born from the Shiranui Household, before becoming a part of the Nienami family.^[2]

PlotEdit

Jet Black Bride ArcEdit

Sakugo is waiting for Medaka Kurokami on the aircraft carrier Black, along with the other suitors. He introduces himself as pervert number four, and claims he likes a girl covered in blood.^[3] He excitedly mumbles about blood.^[4] Sakugo listens on as Bukiko Udou explains the rules of the second Jet Black Wedding Feast.^[5] Sakugo is the fourth to battle Najimi Ajimu, telling her she will regret not losing before she had to fight him.^[6] However, he is easily defeated by one hundred of Ajimu's mental skills.^[7] As Sakugo lies defeated, it is revealed that he and the others are actually nothing more than doubles for the real suitors.^[8][9]

Unknown Shiranui ArcEdit

After Iihiko Shishime realizes Fukurou Tsurubami does not want Hansode Shiranui as a double, he leaves the Shiranui Village, beating Sakugo and several other doubles in the process.^[10]

Bouquet Toss To The Future ArcEdit

Sakugo confronts Medaka at Hakoniwa Academy as part of the 100 Flowers Run, along with Iihiko and the rest of the Shiranui family.^[11] Medaka defeats Sakugo with her Hybrid God Mode.^[12][13] His message to Medaka is they should keep getting bloodstained.^[14]

TriviaEdit

• The names of the six doubles all contain kanji that hinted at them being impostors. His name, 錯悟 (Sakugo) comes from 錯誤, meaning "Mistake".
• Sakugo's fetish for a girl covered in blood seems to be fulfilled by Nienami's self-mutilating style.
